| appreciate your input I think it sure is a mechnical problem rather than an electrical one. let me describe it a little further say you turn your steering wheel left as you are doing u turn, and pull the lever, the lever will not engage the "click" at all, although it blinks normally if I push it hard enough. If not hard enough, it will not blink. if my steering wheel is straight, everything came back to normal. :tian2bing, :You don't say whether the signal flashes or not, or if its just that the signal doesn't stay locked on until you straighten the wheel. Your issue sounds like either the plastic pawl that locks the turn signal on until you straighten the wheel, or the contacts for firing up the turn signal lights has yielded to old age. :The only way to fix the problem is to remove the steering wheel cover etc. and get to the turn signal switch body. Whether its a dirt issue or a worn part issue can only be determined then. :If a new switch assembly is required, try eBay or a wrecker for a used one, or Nissan or ConceptZ (online 300zx parts supplier) for a new one. Good Luck!
